BARGAIN HUNT'S BACK (1.06.03), (5.06.03)

The new series of Bargain Hunt continues and will take up a regular Thursday evening spot on BBC1 at 8.30 pm. Following the huge success of two tremendous weeks of 'live' editions of the

show, the new prime time series got off to a great start with the controversial edition which was filmed at Harrogate Antique Fair (for more see archive news for February) in which the two teams were comprised of two pairs of professional drag artistes. The blue team decided to pin all their hopes on one item which cost them nearly their full budget of £500 and their daring approach paid off to the tune of a £15 profit. Teams of ice hockey players and vicars are amongst future contestants.
