'WHAT A BOBBY DAZZLER'
IS DAVID DICKINSON'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY!
Dive between the covers with 'The Duke' and
you won't be disappointed!
As promised David Dickinson's autobiography entitled'What A Bobby Dazzler'will be published in mid may but you can
buy your copy now and be among the first
to read his enthralling story. Written with David's natural candour, disarming
honesty, winning wit and effortless charm, this is a book you won't want to
put down.
Here's what's in store, "In his autobiography David tells how he grew up in a
working class district of Manchester, and reveals how he discovered at
age 12 that he was adopted. David also describes his early foray into
wheeling and dealing in the garment industry in Manchester, as well as
his stint in Manchester's notorious prison, Strangeways. David was first
introduced to showbiz when he traveled the world as the manager of his
international cabaret star wife, Lorne. In his book David describes some
of the remarkable people they met on their travels, and discloses the
dark and dangerous side of showbiz he had no idea existed. Finally, after
building himself a reputation as an antiques dealer to the rich and famous
with an eye for treasures, a chance meeting with a TV exec at a barbecue
began David's journey to primetime TV on "Bargain Hunt", and
in his autobiography David shares some of his experiences of sudden celebrity."

DAVID
DICKINSON'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY(01.02.03)
David
has started work on his autobiography, due to be published 15 May 2003 by BBC
Publications. He has enlisted the help of accomplished author Rosemary Kingsland
who also worked with David on his first book
'The Antiques Buyer'.
David took advantage of 'time in the shade' on his recent
tropical holiday in Malaysia to sit down under a tree and reminisce. The book
promises to be a great read. David has an exciting story to tell from his
working class beginnings to his meteoric rise to fame on the small screen,
by way of his life traveling the world as Lorne's Manager, and the extreme
highs and lows of his antique business. He will no doubt tell it with his
natural candour and wit. We will bring you further details of the books progress
in the coming weeks and how to buy it as soon as it is available.
David tells it as it is!
